Key responsibilities include leadership, conflict mediation, problem-solving, and decision-making. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential. Candidates must be able to work independently and collaboratively, attend occasional staff meetings, and demonstrate a commitment to the mission and values of UAS Student Affairs and Residence Life. Additional requirements include proficiency in Microsoft and Google suite applications, physical ability to walk campus rounds (consisting of flat grounds, sloped grounds, and flights of stairs for approximately 30 minutes), and occasional lifting (up to 15 lbs.). A positive attitude, approachability, and strong organizational skills are a must.
