Do you like helping people? Are you tech savvy? Join us at the UAF Kuskokwim Campus and help our students successfully complete remote courses by assisting with technology needs and navigating learning management systems.

As our Digital Navigator, you will join the tight-knit Kuskokwim Campus team to support students in their distance coursework by helping them navigate learning management systems (Canvas, Blackboard, etc.), help dual enrollment students apply for and register for their courses from their home communities, and assist adjunct faculty with administrative duties

To thrive in this role, you must be able to clearly communicate step-by-step processes both in-person and via video conferencing. The person in this role will be working with school districts, Tribes, and other community organizations, so effective and timely communication is essential. You will be asked to work both independently and with a team, so the ability to effectively navigate both settings is necessary.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in related field and two years relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

An unrestricted US drivers license and clean driving record in compliance with UA Safe Driving Criteria.

Position Details:

This position is located on the Kuskokwim campus in Bethel AK. This is a full-time, non-exempt staff position complete with both a competitive salary and full employee benefits package. UA provides a generous compensation package that includes retirement options, annual leave, 12 paid holidays per year, tuition waivers for employees and family members, and affordable medical, dental and vision care coverage. New hires will be placed on the UA Staff (Bethel) Salary Schedule, Grade 78, based on education and experience.
