The College of Business and Security Management (CBSM) at the University of Alaska Fairbanks is looking for qualified adjunct faculty for the 2024-2025 Academic Year to create online course content and develop engaging curricula for the following areas: Accounting, Applied Management, Business Administration, Economics, Homeland Security and Emergency Management, and Healthcare Management. Successful applicants should have a master's degree or Ph.D. in a related field and professional experience in the field of study relevant to the course being developed. Applicants should be familiar with online learning.

Work might be in-person or remote, depending on the needs of the program respective to the course being developed.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Extensive experience in the field of study related to the course being developed.
Ability to create online course content. Preferred Experience & Education:
Experience sufficient to perform the job.
Experience in higher education is preferred.
Required Experience & Education:

Master's degree or Ph.D. related to accounting, applied management, business administration, economics, homeland security and emergency management, or healthcare management.

Salary Information:

This is a part-time position. Salary rates are $5,125 per semester-based three-credit course or $1,708.33 per credit hour.

This is a pooled position, which means that the position remains open during the academic year and applicants are reviewed on an as-needed basis by the Applied Management, Business Administration, Homeland Security and Emergency Management, and Healthcare Management programs.
