Kenai Peninsula College is looking for excellent student workers in the IT department. The help desk provides first contact student, staff and faculty technical support. They are the first person a customer sees and often the first person a customer speaks with. They are expected to be courteous, prompt, and self-sufficient. Help desk employees will sometimes work nights with limited supervision. 

- Knowledge of Blackboard and UAOnline
- Completion of approved customer service training
- General Administrative Duties
- Familiarity with video streaming services
- Knowledge of HTML beneficial, but not required
- Ability to become familiar with industry standards for accessible digital content and educational technology tools
- Must pass a skills assessment

Minimum Qualifications:

Enrollment Requirements: During the academic year, undergraduate students must be taking at least 6 credits.

GPA Requirements: Students must have and maintain at least a 2.0 GPA to be employed as a student employee.

Work Schedule Restrictions: While classes are in session, students may work up to 20 hours per week.

Position Details:

This is a part time position up to 20 hours/week during the semester. This position is located at Kenai Peninsula College in Soldotna Alaska. This job is a Grade 2 Step 13 position which pays $14.38/hour.
