Make a Difference in Student Health at UAF
Join the Student Health and Counseling Center as a Medical Assistant and play a vital role in supporting the health and well-being of UAF students. This rewarding position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse, multicultural student population while gaining valuable experience across a wide range of clinical responsibilities.
Medical Assistants report to the Associate Director of Medical Services and work alongside compassionate medical and mental health professionals in a welcoming, collaborative, and growing practice. This position is currently available, with full-time and part-time opportunities offered on 9-, 10.5-, or 12-month contracts, providing flexibility to support a healthy work-life balance.
To thrive in this role, you’ll bring a strong foundation in medical assisting, clinical experience, adaptability, and a commitment to providing inclusive, student-centered care. Comfort with telemedicine, a collaborative approach, and enthusiasm for professional growth will help you succeed as part of a team dedicated to the health and well-being of UAF students.
