Document Services Supervisor

The UAA Copy & Print Center Document Services Supervisor is responsible for the operational oversight of the Copy & Print Center, directly supervising the team that includes production technicians, graphic design, and a customer service representative. This position is expected to have a working knowledge of production digital copy/print (small format and large format), relevant hardware and software, as well as finishing/bindery. Prior professional experience in the print industry is required. Must be able to review and interpret sales, expense, costing, and overall budget data on a regular basis, making recommendations and providing data/reports as needed and requested by the GSS Director or others. Detail oriented with a commitment to quality control and productivity/efficiency. Strong organizational, troubleshooting, problem solving and prioritizing skills. Excellent customer service skills to include the ability to work with diverse personalities with tact and diplomacy. Ability to supervise with a positive and supportive approach. Effective communication skills both verbally and in writing. Ability to read and interpret documents such as instruction manuals, maintenance contracts, and safety rules/regulations.
