As our Student Services Attendant, you will serve as a resource for patrons of Kenai Peninsula College’s Kenai River Campus and are responsible for answering general questions and directing visitors to the location of departments, events, meetings, and classes on campus. The position pays $12.11/hour.

This person must possess initiative and have the ability to reach out to various departments on campus to maintain current and accurate information. Must be reliable and punctual. Ability to demonstrate proper reception and phone etiquette skills. Must display tactfulness in fielding questions from the general public, KPC employees, and KPC students and be able to do so without close supervision. Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Previous administrative experience is preferred, but not required.

Minimum Qualifications:

Current student of University of Alaska enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours with a GPA of 2.00 or higher at all times.

Position Details:

This is a part-time student position of up to 20 hours/week. Student Assistant Level 1, Step 9, $12.11 per hour.
