As a Student Coordinator for New Student Orientation, you will play a crucial role in creating transformative experiences for new students at UAF. This position assists the Assistant Director of New Student Orientation in planning various initiatives, including—but not limited to—fall and spring orientations, online orientation, and admitted student days. This role offers a valuable opportunity to enhance leadership, event planning, and student engagement skills in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

Applicant must be enrolled as a UAF student taking a minimum of 6 credits per semester with a minimum GPA of 2.0 or a newly enrolled student. 

Position Details:

This position is located on the University of Alaska campus in Fairbanks.

This is a Student Assistant 2 Position, minimum starting pay is $20.00 per hour. 

This is a pooled position, which means that the position remains open over the entire academic year.
