This role supports students, educators, and school districts as they navigate University of Alaska dual-credit programs, helping make the enrollment process clear, accessible, and successful. You’ll coordinate across UA campuses, troubleshoot enrollment and payment issues, maintain accurate academic records, and develop resources that make dual-credit participation easier for students and educators across Alaska. If you’re organized, resourceful, and enjoy helping people navigate complex processes, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on Alaska’s future college students.
A successful candidate will thrive in this role by bringing strong knowledge of higher education administrative processes, particularly student enrollment, academic records, course registration, and dual-credit programming. They will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple students, courses, deadlines, and administrative priorities while maintaining accurate and confidential records. Success will also require strong communication skills and the ability to clearly explain complex university processes to students, families, educators, school districts, and university staff. The ideal candidate will be resourceful and self-directed, able to identify and resolve administrative challenges, navigate University of Alaska systems and procedures, and collaborate effectively across multiple offices and campuses. Proficiency with databases, spreadsheets, cloud-based tools, and student information systems is essential, with experience using Banner or similar higher education systems preferred. The ability to create effective tracking tools, guides, checklists, and processes will support consistent program delivery, while adaptability, collaboration, and cultural and geographic awareness will be important for serving partners and students across urban, rural, and remote Alaska communities.
The successful candidate should have experience working with K-12 schools, school districts, or secondary students and experience communicating complex ideas and multi-step processes to a variety of audiences.
