Join the Residence Life Central Office team and gain valuable professional experience while supporting daily operations. This student position offers hands-on involvement in administrative tasks and customer service in a dynamic campus environment. Outside of an hourly wage, benefits include flexible hours to accommodate class schedules, opportunity to develop administrative and customer service skills, and a supportive work environment.

To thrive in this role, applicants must be able to:
Provide in-person and electronic customer service to students, staff, and visitors
Assist with general office duties including answering phones, responding to emails, and greeting guests
Collect, organize, and enter data for reports and office records
Perform basic data analysis and generate summary reports
Process paperwork and assist with document shredding and filing
Support special projects and complete other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

This recruitment is open to undergraduate students only.

Be enrolled in at least 3 credit for the Fall and Spring terms
Must have GPA of 2.0 or higher
6 months to 3 years office/clerical experience
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information\
Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor

Position Details:

This position is located on the University of Alaska campus in Fairbanks.  10-20 hours per week. $15-16 per hour. No room scholarship.
