We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Access Control Systems Manager to join our team!


In this role, you’ll support the design, implementation, and maintenance of our multi-campus electronic access control systems - hardware, software, and data integrations. You’ll collaborate with departments, vendors, and technicians to ensure secure and compliant operations, while also providing hands-on support with system audits, user access requests, and hardware expansions. You’ll help keep our infrastructure running smoothly by assisting with database reporting, writing data scripts, managing server configurations, and providing front-line technical troubleshooting. If you enjoy a balance of hands-on technical work, systems design, and
collaborative problem-solving, we’d love to hear from you.


To thrive in this role, you'll need:

  •  Strong analytical and organizational skills
  •  Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Confidence in technical writing and the ability to explain complex systems to varied
    audiences
  • Experience with operating system configuration, software deployment, and
    documentation
  • Familiarity with communication/networking protocols like RS-232, RS-485, Ethernet,
    and IP
  • Proficiency in IT automation and scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python) to streamline
    system tasks and improve operational efficiency. 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least three years of progressively responsible
    experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record meeting UA Safe Driving Criteria

 

Position Details:

This is a full-time, exempt staff position complete with both a competitive salary and full employee benefits package. UA provides a generous compensation package that includes retirement options, annual leave, 12 paid holidays per year, tuition waivers for employees and family members, and affordable medical, dental and vision care coverage. New hires will be placed on the UA Staff Salary Schedule, Grade 80, based on education and experience.
