Join our dynamic team at the College of Rural and Community Development and the Community and Technical College where you will spearhead HR administration and support initiatives with a focus on collaboration, mentorship and compliance. As a Supervisor, you'll play a pivotal role in aligning HR strategies with UA's overarching objectives, while also providing expert guidance on HR processes and policies. To thrive in the role HR Manager, you will excel in overseeing HR administration by aligning strategies with UA's objectives, setting clear goals, and ensuring compliance. Mentor and supervise staff for service excellence and continuous improvement, while providing expert support in conflict resolution and employee relations. Drive recruitment efforts, ensuring adherence to processes and retention policies, and coordinate with higher authorities for faculty hires and visa applications. Actively participate in training initiatives, fostering a culture of learning and development, and remain flexible to handle additional responsibilities as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

Associate’s degree and two years of progressively responsible experience related to the program specialty, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

Position Details:

This position is located on the CTC campus in Fairbanks, AK. This is a full-time, non-exempt staff position complete with both a competitive salary and full employee benefits package. UA provides a generous compensation package that includes retirement options, annual leave, 12 paid holidays per year, tuition waivers for employees and family members, and affordable medical, dental and vision care coverage. New hires will be placed on the UA Staff Salary Schedule, Grade 78, based on education and experience.
