The University Affiliated Research Center (UARC) is seeking a full-time Fiscal Manager to monitor expenses and generate financial reports and financial projections for all the funds associated with the UARC’s mission.

To thrive in this role, one must be detail oriented, be creative and clear in expressing financial data to a host of recipients, have a solid background in award management, have strong problem-solving skills as well as being able to identify and advise on possible solutions. Dynamic critical thinking skills, a strong knowledge of research administration as well as public speaking skills are needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field. 5 years progressively responsible professional or management fiscal fiscal experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Professional licensure preferred (e.g. CPA, CFM).

Position Details:

This position is located at the UAF campus in Fairbanks, Alaska. Remote work agreements will be considered for this position.

This position is full-time, Grade 81, term-funded, exempt, 12-month position complete with a competitive salary and UA employee benefits package. UA provides a generous compensation package that includes retirement options, annual leave, 12 paid holidays per year, tuition waivers for employees and family members, and affordable medical, dental and vision care coverage. New hires will be placed on the UA staff salary schedule, based on education and experience.
