The Department of Humanities at the University of Alaska Southeast, School of Arts & Sciences, is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated adjunct faculty members to teach writing courses in our English Program. We are looking for talented educators with a strong background in English, Literature, Composition and Rhetoric, or Creative Writing. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our mission of transforming student aspirations into reality by providing high-quality education and inspiring learning experiences. Adjunct positions are filled on a temporary basis. This is not a remote position.

Minimum Qualifications:

Master's degree in English, Literature, Composition and Rhetoric, or Creative Writing from an accredited institution of higher education.
2 years of relevant experience, preferably in a college or university setting, with graduate-level coursework in teaching of writing is preferred.

This is a temporary faculty position. Salary is based on the number of previous semesters teaching experience within the University of Alaska.
