As the CTE Dual Enrollment Coordinator you will have the opportunity to help UAA highlight and improve the dual enrollment student experience. You will have the opportunity to work closely with the staff in the Middle College, and will interact with peers that work in dual enrollment across UAA’s campuses. Moreover, you will be an integral part of Academic Affairs and Institutional Effectiveness, providing many opportunities to learn more about the university and to grow as a professional.

UAA welcomes applications for a CTE Dual Enrollment Coordinator from individuals passionate about UAA’s role in providing multiple pathways to UAA’s educational programs. Reporting to the Senior Vice Provost for Academic Affairs and Institutional Effectiveness, this person will provide hands on assistance in the schools, and serve as a UAA dual enrollment resource to students, parents, and high school staff, in charge of developing programming to meet those needs. They will work closely with UAA’s Middle College staff, overseeing and managing the textbook process for the Alaska Middle College School. They will have an opportunity to develop the role, including process improvement. The job requires knowledge of or the ability to quickly learn about UAA’s dual enrollment programming, as well as university policies and procedures, and federal regulations as they relate to working with students. It also requires the ability to communicate effectively, sound professional judgement and respect for confidentiality, advanced computer skills, preferable familiarity with UAA’s systems such as Banner and Navigate, and the ability to work as an influential part of a team and to be a team leader.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field and three years relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

Position Details:

This position is located at the University of Alaska campus in Anchorage. This is a full-time, term-funded, exempt staff position complete with both a competitive salary and full employee benefits package. UA provides a generous compensation package that includes retirement options, annual leave, 12 paid holidays per year, tuition waivers for employees and family members, and affordable medical, dental and vision care coverage. New hires will be placed on the UA Staff Salary Schedule, Grade 79, based on education and experience.

A valid driver's license and clean driving record in compliance with UA Safe Driving Criteria - Transportation Safety Guide (alaska.edu) to transport equipment between locations.
