The Department of Natural Sciences at the University of Alaska Southeast (UAS) in Juneau seeks applications from qualified candidates for a Term Assistant Professor in Marine Biology, to begin August 2025. This is a one semester, term-funded position. Applicants must have a PhD in marine biology, biology, or a related field (all but degree candidates will be considered). This position will teach ecology courses for the UAS Biology and Marine Biology program.

Minimum Qualifications:
PhD in marine biology, biology, or a related field. Candidates with all but dissertation (ABD) at time of application may be considered with the requirement that the PhD defense be scheduled before starting the position.
Position Details:
This position is located on the University of Alaska campus in Juneau. This is a full-time, term-funded position complete with both a competitive salary and full employee benefits package.
