Ability to give a favorable impression to the public in appearance and behavior; adapt to changes in workload; work independently with limited supervision and in cooperation with other employees; possess attention to detail/organizational skills, be able to multi-task and handle difficult/stressful situations with diplomacy and finesse; abide by all local and state laws and University regulations.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Applicants must have unrestricted employment authorization in the United States.
• Applicants must complete all UAF employee Required Training (including Safety training, Title IX, Protection of minors, Campus Security Authority, and FERPA) within two weeks of their hire date.
• At the time of hire, applicants must have applied for housing through the Department of Residence Life.
•Applicant must be enrolled as a UA student taking a minimum of 6 credits per semester with a minimum GPA of 2.0 or a newly enrolled student.
•All applicants will have their university student conduct record reviewed, and this review will be taken into consideration during the application/interview process.
•Must be available to work for the duration of the SHA contract period.

Position Details:

This position is located on the University of Alaska campus in Fairbanks. This is a Student Assistant 2 position, minimum starting pay is $13.03 per hour and room waiver. This is a pooled position, which means that the position remains open over the entire academic year.
