Are you interested in reconstructing paleoenvironments of coastal Alaska using diatoms and sediment properties in core material? Are you also interested in gaining valuable experience managing a university laboratory? Look no further! The Arctic Coastal Geosciences Lab at UAF is now seeking a Postdoctoral Fellow who is ready to take a leadership role within a dynamic lab team. This position emphasizes research and requires that the candidate show advanced understanding of reconstructing past environments using diatom ecology and other sediment proxies (including grain size, sediment age models, etc.), and their ability to work independently towards publishable results.
