Teach and Develop Courses that prepare future K-8 educators, focusing on instructional methods, curriculum development, and effective teaching practices.

Build Partnerships with schools, districts, and educational organizations across Alaska to strengthen connections between the university and K-12 education.

Minimum Qualifications:
An earned doctorate in Elementary or Middle School Education, Curriculum & Instruction, or a closely related field (ABD candidates will be considered if the doctorate is earned before the start date).
Experience teaching in an elementary and/or middle school setting.
Preferred but not required: Background in Early Childhood Education and familiarity with best practices for early learning.
Position Details:
This position is located on the University of Alaska Southeast campus in Juneau. This is a full-time, 9-month tenure-track faculty position complete with both a competitive salary and full employee benefits package.
