UAF CTC is seeking a faculty member for the Licensed Practical Nurse program. They should have a strong foundation in patient care and a desire to share their knowledge with future nurses. This role requires the ability to teach and supervise students in simulation labs and clinical settings ensuring they gain the hands-on experience needed for success in the field. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential. Faculty will support learning and program growth by working with students and colleagues, maintaining healthcare facility relationships for student clinical experiences, and contributing to curriculum development and course revision.

The ideal candidate will have at least five years of clinical nursing experience, a baccalaureate degree in nursing (BSN or higher), and a current RN license in Alaska or the ability to obtain one within six months of hire. While prior teaching experience is preferred, candidates with a passion for education and mentorship are encouraged to apply.

Minimum Qualifications:

- Must hold a minimum of a baccalaureate degree in nursing (BSN or higher.)
- Current or recent direct engagement in a significant manner in clinical nursing experiences.
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Alaska, or ability to obtain Alaska license within six months of hire

Position Details:

This position is located at the UAF Community and Technical College in Fairbanks. This is a full-time,9-month, term faculty position complete with both a competitive salary and  full employee benefits package.
