The College of Rural and Community Development is seeking graduate students to fulfill a teaching assistantship.
This posting is for those graduate students interested in a teaching/research assistantship with any department within the College of Rural and Community Development. Can be on a per semester or full academic-year basis.
The assistantship does include a tuition waiver, health care coverage, and a stipend.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Have experience, or interest, and capacity to learn curriculum and support. Have anAwarded Bachelor's degree and pursuing a graduate degree at UAF.
The successful applicant is required to complete a background check. Any offer of employment is contingent on the background check.
It is the policy of the University of Alaska Fairbanks that all employees are required to attend training to meet the requirements of the positions they hold, and to complete the required training within a specified period of time to remain employed at UAF. This is a part-time, 9-month, graduate research or teaching assistantship. Salary is commensurate based on current degree standing as outline by the UAF Graduate School and can be negotiated.
