Proficiency in written and oral communication, have the ability to follow directions and timelines
with limited supervision; strong interpersonal skills.

Experience handling confidential records and working with children preferred.

UAF is looking for motivated student employees interested in working with elementary school students to assist in math, reading and science. Eligible students will be placed in a local elementary school to work alongside teachers and staff to work with kids on homework and class assignments. Applicants must be eligible for Federal Work Study and can apply for work study through the FAFSA.

Minimum Qualifications:

Must have transportation or ability to access bus system (position is off-campus); Must be
eligible for Federal Work Study (complete the FAFSA to determine eligibility); Must be enrolled
half time and in good academic standing

Position Details:

This is a part-time, student position. Starting hourly rate of $16.00

This is a pooled position, which means that the position remains open over the entire academic year.
