Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Management: Oversee the daily operations of the ProCard/Travel Card Programs.

  • Account Maintenance: Manage card accounts, ensuring they adhere to university policies.

  • Training & Support: Provide essential training and support to cardholders and approving officials.

  • Fraud Prevention: Analyze transactions to identify cost-saving opportunities and potential fraud.

  • Auditing & Improvement: Conduct regular audits and recommend process enhancements.

  • Relationship Building: Maintain professional relationships with vendors, departments, and auditors.

Minimum Qualifications:

What We’re Looking For:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in business/accounting or related field or an equivalent combination of procurement training and experience is preferred.

  • Experience: Two years of business experience or an equivalent combination of training and experience (i.e. procurement or card related experience).

  • Experience demonstrating ability to communicate and work effectively with all levels of management/staff/public/
  • Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and proficiency in MS Office Suite. Knowledge of Banner Finance is a plus.

  • Certification: Certified Procurement Card Professional (CPCP) certification is preferred.

Position Details:

This is a full-time, exempt staff position complete with both a competitive salary and full employee benefits package. UA provides a generous compensation package that includes retirement options, annual leave, 12 paid holidays per year, tuition waivers for employees and family members, and affordable medical, dental and vision care coverage. New hires will be placed on the UA Staff Salary Schedule, Grade 78, based on education and experience.
