UAF Fall Career Fair

This student position assists the Facilities Services division of Design & Construction with various engineering/architectural projects. This job is part-time during the academic year and full-time during the summer, hours are flexible for students who are taking summer classes. Both active UAF students and High School graduates who have been accepted to UAF may apply. Student intern job responsibilities generally consist of assisting the UAF (DDC) Design and Construction Management team for various UAF projects.

The Wood Center Graphic Design Student position is ideal for a creative student with a strong understanding of color theory and design principles. The successful applicant must be willing to work collaboratively with a team of student graphic artists, providing and receiving constructive feedback. This role requires excellent customer service skills when working with clients, along with strong time management and organizational abilities. Attention to detail and high-quality editing skills are essential. The student must be familiar with UAF’s marketing guidelines and demonstrate a strong creative design process. Experience using graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator is required, as well as comfort working on Mac computers.
