We are seeking a savvy Student Marketing Assistant! Are you passionate about promoting events, engaging with fellow students, and sharing vibrant stories? Join us as a Student Marketing Assistant! As part of our communications and development team, you will gain valuable skills in social media management, graphic design, content creation, photography and multimedia production while collaborating with those we support across rural campuses, multiple locations, and our Troth Yeddha’ campus.

The Wood Center Graphic Design Student position is ideal for a creative student with a strong understanding of color theory and design principles. The successful applicant must be willing to work collaboratively with a team of student graphic artists, providing and receiving constructive feedback. This role requires excellent customer service skills when working with clients, along with strong time management and organizational abilities. Attention to detail and high-quality editing skills are essential. The student must be familiar with UAF’s marketing guidelines and demonstrate a strong creative design process. Experience using graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator is required, as well as comfort working on Mac computers.

The College of Business and Security Management hires a variety of students throughout the academic year for various positions, including Dean's Office Assistant, Accounting Lab Tutor, Economics Lab Tutor, Student Grader, Student Investment Fund Assistant, and other positions as needed. All positions work under intermittent supervision and require the ability to exercise independent judgment.
