Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Experience and knowledge of science practices, procedures, and activities related to the areas of Marine Biology, Oceanography, Fisheries, or other related fields (dependent upon the specific position).
Ability to travel, life heavy objects, etc. dependent on the requirements of the position.
Ability to exhibit a high degree of professionalism, communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to prioritize and use sound judgment. Required Experience & Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent, additional education, training, licensing and/or certification is dependent upon the position. Additionally, the candidate must possess the appropriate training and/or education required for the position.

The level of experience/training is dependent on the specific position:
-Training in scientific laboratory and/or field site techniques in areas of Marine Biology, Oceanography, Fisheries or related areas.
-Safety training, Haz Mat handling, shipping, computer software, or other training.

Salary Information:

This is a part-time, temporary, non-exempt position. New hires will be placed on the UA FY24 Temporary Staff Salary Schedule based on education and experience.
