Student Services Information Specialist

The KPC Kenai River Campus Student Services Office is looking for a student employee to assist new and returning students and the public at large.  Please consider joining this collaborative and innovative team of student services professionals.

This is a Student Services Information Specialist Level 1, Step 14, $13.38/hour. Labor Pool at the Kenai River Campus in Soldotna, AK. The position is for up to 20 hours/week during the semester and possibly up to 40 hours/week during the summer.

The successful candidate must be reliable and punctual, demonstrate professional reception and phone etiquette, work effectively under pressure, and maintain student and records confidentiality.  If you have strong customer services skills, consider applying. 

Minimum Qualifications:

Must be a current KPC student taking 6 or more credits and maintain a minimum 2.0 cumulative grade point average (GPA).

Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrated ability to listen to and effectively address student concerns, experience with data entry and maintaining database systems, and a commitment to remain at KPC for two years or longer.

Position Details:

This position is located on the Kenai River Campus campus in Soldotna. This is a part-time, Student Assistant 1 position.  You must be enrolled in at least 6 University of Alaska credits to be eligible to apply. We will work around your class schedule.
