The College of Business and Security Management hires a variety of students throughout the year for various positions including Deans Office Assistant, Accounting Lab Tutor, Economics Lab Tutor, Student Grader, Student Investment Fund Assistant, and other positions as needed. All positions work under intermittent supervision and require the ability to exercise independent judgment. All positions require basic computer skills, customer service, and the ability to work independently with intermittent supervision. Specific knowledge and skills are dependent on the type of position applied for.

Typically requires previous experience or training in the area of interest.

Minimum Qualifications:

Typically requires one year or more of experience depending on the type of position.

Position Details:

Student employment is part-time (up to 20 hours per week) while classes are in session. Additional hours may be available during winter and spring breaks. Summer employment is available for up to 40 hours per week, depending on the position.

This is a pooled position and applications are reviewed as needed. Submission of an application does not guarantee review or a job offer. The starting wage is $14.96 per hour for most positions, but may vary depending on the position. Student Salary Schedule

Must be a UA student enrolled in a minimum of six credit hours throughout employment duration.

Maintain a 2.0 cumulative GPA, unless a first-time freshman.
