The Office of Admissions is looking for Student Ambassadors! Student Ambassadors carry out a diverse range of activities to assist recruitment efforts at UAF. Student ambassadors serve as aspirational peers and as catalysts for engagement with the university. -Ability to communicate (written/verbal) effectively with all types of people.
-Ability to work independently and as a part of a team to multitask and prioritize varied tasks.
-Ability to analyze information, solve problems and use sound judgment in decision making.
-Knowledge of basic computer software.
-Strong organizational skills.
-Positive attitude.
-Approachability.
-A commitment of one full semester (one full academic year preferred).
-Preference will be given to applicants with in-depth knowledge of: UAF, general knowledge of the admissions process, well-rounded knowledge of the academic, social, and extracurricular opportunities at UAF, involvement in student organizations.
-Completed at least one semester at UAF already

Minimum Qualifications:

1) Be enrolled in at least 6 UA credits.
2) have at least a 2.0 GPA.
3) completed at least one semester at UAF already

Position Details:

This recruitment is open to undergraduate students only.

This student staff position is 20 hours/week during the academic year with opportunities for up to 40 hours/week during the summer and pays $16.00/hour.
