The Shipping and Receiving Department is looking for two full-time Shipping and Receiving Assistants for a temporary (up to six months) Local 6070 Maintenance Service Worker III position. This person will support faculty, staff, and students in various areas, including expediting, light maintenance, warehouse, and equipment assembly duties.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent. Previous experience performing physical-based work duties. Previous Warehousing experience preferred. Previous experience operating forklifts is preferred.

A valid driver's license and clean driving record in compliance with UA Safe Driving Criteria is required.

Position Details:

This position will be physically located at the UAF campus in Fairbanks, Alaska. The successful finalist will be expected to report to duty at the UAF office on the first day of employment.

Salary Information: MSW3 /Step 1 $19.71/hr.  (See Article 9.2 in the L6070 Collective Bargaining Agreement, Wage Grade Schedule).
