The University of Alaska Anchorage Allied Health is one of the largest divisions within the College of Health and encompasses the following programs: Dental Hygiene and Dental Assisting, Fire and Emergency Services, Pharmacy Technology, Radiologic Technology, Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Medical Assisting, Medical Laboratory Science, Physical Therapist Assistant, Dietetics & Nutrition, Surgical Technology, Occupational Therapy as well as Health, Physical Education and Recreation.

Ability to communicate effectively.
Ability to demonstrate confidentiality, professionalism, and punctuality.
Ability to proofread and write with proficiency.
Ability to use computer programs.
Ability to show attention to detail and timeliness in completion of assigned tasks.
Ability to use general office equipment.
Ability to work in a front-facing on campus position.

Prior work in retail, hospitality, or office setting preferred

Minimum Qualifications:

High School diploma or GED and enrolled in UA System

Position Details:

This position is located on the University of Alaska Anchorage campus. New hires will be placed on the UA Student Assistant Salary scale, starting at $11.34, based on education and experience.

This is a pooled position, and will remain open for the duration of the entire academic year.
