The Institute of Arctic Biology (IAB) is seeking motivated and energetic post doctoral scholars to support the areas of biology, genetics, wildlife, biomedical, ecology, physiology, bioinformatics, and related areas of study to support the research and academic missions of the Institute of Arctic Biology. This will include working on one or more funded projects in these research areas under the guidance of senior faculty members.

Minimum Qualifications:

A PhD in Biology, Genetics, Wildlife, Biomedical, Ecology, Physiology, Bioinformatics, or a related field of study to support the research and academic missions of the Institute of Arctic Biology.

General knowledge of the relevant research related to the unit and sufficient relevant experience to contribute significantly to a specific project. Experience in using computers and other appropriate equipment to conduct the proposed research.

Position Details:

This position is located on the Fairbanks campus in Alaska, and flexible on-site/hybrid work arrangements may be considered in accordance with UA regulations. This is an exempt, posdoctoral researcher position with a competitive salary and full employee benefits package.
