The University of Alaska Human Resources department is looking for a part time, temporary, human resources technician to assist with data entry, Form I-9 processing, and incoming ticketing system requests. Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of work experience, including at least 6 months in an office or professional work environment.
  • Knowledge of professional level office methods and practices.
  • Strong knowledge of computer operations and software applications, including Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Must be able to work under general supervision, conduct research, and use sound judgment.  Must have meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

Position Details:

This is a part-time, non-exempt temporary staff position. New hires will be placed on the UA temporary staff salary schedule, Grade 76.
