Nook Concierge for Residence Life

Are you looking for a Student Assistant position with working hours available outside the standard workweek? The Nook Concierge position, NC, is a student member of the Department of Residence Life. NCs work night and early morning hours serving as a resource to the residents within the Residence Halls while the Central Office is closed. Qualified applicants will enjoy interacting with people, and know how to work positively and collaboratively with students, staff, Residence Life personnel, and visitors. Additionally, NCs assist with general office administrative support.

-Be knowledgeable of campus, Residence Life, and Central Office procedures and events. The NC will be able to provide guidance or answers to any questions that may arise.
-Exercise professional judgment at all times, including when posting to and using social media networks and any internet information/sources that are publicly accessible.
-Maintain professional tones and demeanors while communicating via email, telephone or face to face. NCs are expected to display excellent customer service with everyone they encounter.
-Maintain a positive attitude and positive relationships with residents of the community, as well as members of the staff and the greater department as a whole. This includes courteous communication, as well as patience and grace in challenging situations.
-Submit written reports and other paperwork or forms in a timely fashion, and by established deadlines.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum experience includes previous customer service experience.

Position Details:

This is a part-time student position with a salary starting at $14.10/hour.
