At the Prince William Sound Health and Fitness Center, the attendant will be the first person that individuals meet as they enter the facility. All duties must be completed with professionalism and a high degree of friendly customer service. The attendant will promote Health and Fitness Center programs, perform custodial duties, and process registrations and payments.

This position requires exceptional customer service skills, basic computer skills, ability to follow cash handling procedures, ability to follow specific schedules and procedures for cleaning and disinfecting exercise equipment, bathrooms, floors, walls, windows, and surfaces, and the ability to work independently with a minimum of direct supervision.

To thrive in this role, the applicant must possess a friendly demeanor, perform duties assigned with professionalism and in a timely manner, and are able to work independently.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school graduation or the equivalent.

College experience preferred. Education and training in health, exercise science, or a related field is preferred.

Position Details:

This position is located on the Prince William Sound College campus in Valdez. This is a part-time, non-exempt temporary staff position.  New hires will be placed on the UA Temporary Staff Salary Schedule, Grade 74 (11% Geo Diff), based on education and experience.
