Be comfortable performing physical tasks including lifting up to 70 lbs., operating equipment, and working outdoors in varying conditions.
Demonstrate the ability to read, interpret, and follow written or verbal instructions, safety rules, and operating procedures.
Take initiative to identify and resolve maintenance needs while maintaining a safe environment for campus users.
Possess basic math and problem-solving skills to manage inventories and address facility issues.
Work positively with campus staff, contractors, and supervisors to support the broader mission of the university.

Minimum Qualifications:
Certificate of Completion from technical school and a minimum of three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Current Alaska Driver's License and clean driving record in compliance with UA Safe Driving Criteria.
Position Details:
This position is located on the Northwest campus in Nome. This is a full-time, non-exempt staff position complete with both a competitive salary and full employee benefits package.
