EPSCoR Data Visualization Intern-Student Assistant

We are looking for an independent, self-motivated student who will be able to advance projects with varying levels of supervision. The successful candidate will have:

Skills and experience in still photography, photo editing, and videography experience or interest in learning video editing using Adobe Premiere Pro
Communication skills including written, verbal, and visual storytelling or journalism
Experience or interest in learning 3D modeling/animation software for creating 3D models and animations
An interest in creating virtual reality environments and experiences using Unity software, and preferably some knowledge in writing computer code in Python or C#

Relevant experience includes familiarity with Microsoft computers, the Google Drive suite, and audio/visual recording equipment. Some experience with graphic design is preferred, especially using Adobe Creative Cloud software. Some background in writing code is encouraged, or knowledge of node-based editing tools in programs such as Blender or Unity.

Minimum Qualifications:

Enrolled as a UA student in 6 or more credits, GPA of 2.0 or higher

Position Details:

This position is located on the Troth Yeddha' campus in Fairbanks, AK. This is a part-time, non-exempt temporary student position. New hires will be placed on the UA Student Salary Schedule, based on education and experience.
