As a part of ACEP’s leadership team, you will play a central role in setting research direction, securing funding, and mentoring the next generation of researchers in Alaska.

ACEP serves as a gateway for energy research and development across the state and beyond. Our mission is to deliver cost-effective, practical, and innovative energy solutions that meet the needs of communities from the Arctic to the Pacific.

As Deputy Director for Research, you will guide the growth and direction of ACEP’s research portfolio across multiple sectors and disciplines, serve as a key member of the ACEP leadership team, contribute to strategy, operations, and collaboration across programs, lead research teams, build new partnerships, and secure funding for long-term research impact.

Advanced skills in planning, securing funding, and coordinating resources to move projects forward will help you become a valuable contributor.
