  • On Campus
  • Staff Full-time
  • Grade 80
  • Vice President of Finance

The University Cost Analysis Department is responsible for the facilities and administrative (F&A) cost rate and fringe benefit cost rate calculations and proposal preparation, analysis, audit defense and submission to the Federal Government. The department is also charged with federal fiscal compliance in the areas of F&A cost, fringe benefits and other costing areas. The department manages the University’s Functional Use Survey. The department maintains university wide cost accounting policies and procedures and the related Cost Accounting Disclosure Statement (DS-2) to ensure compliance with Federal rules and regulations.

As our Cost Analyst, you will join a motivated team with a strong work ethic geared toward precision and accuracy. While working on Excel spreadsheets, databases and specialized software, you will investigate anomalies that impact calculations, trends and projections for the Finance System Office. Through costing projects, you will become skilled and knowledgeable about specific topics and procedures as they relate to Federal regulations and university policies and regulations.
