The College Assistance Migrant Program has existed since 1972. The program assists students who are migratory or seasonal farmworkers – or their dependents – enrolled in their first year of undergraduate studies at an Institution of Higher Education. The funding supports the completion of the first year of studies and serves 25 CAMP participants annually. Funding supports eligible persons through counseling, tutoring, skills workshops, financial aid stipends, health services, and housing assistance.

To thrive in this role as the CAMP Director, a candidate must possess strong leadership and organizational skills. They will bring a proven track record in budgeting, staff supervision, and program evaluation, particularly in compliance with federal grant program regulations. Proficiency in data analysis and reporting is essential to ensure the effective assessment and continuous improvement of the program. Additionally, the CAMP Director must excel in communication, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring the program's goals are met and participants are supported in their educational journey.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in education, business administration, or related field
• Three years of experience in program management and providing services to low-income, first-generation, migratory, and/or underrepresented students.
• Three years of experience in budgeting, staff supervision, and evaluation.
• Experience with planning and implementing programs aimed at retention and graduation of historically underrepresented students.
• Experience with program evaluation and data collection, preferably for federal submission.
• Experience with federal grant program regulations and compliance.
