The Assistant Hockey Coach plays a vital role within our Athletics Department, supporting the Head Coach in all aspects of our hockey program’s development and success. This includes practice planning, game strategy, player development, recruiting, and fostering a positive team culture. The position offers an exciting opportunity to mentor student-athletes and contribute to the continued growth and competitiveness of our hockey program.

To excel in this role you should bring excellent communication skills, a collaborative mindset, a strong work ethic and the ability to develop players both on and off the ice are key to success. Experience with recruitment, video analysis, and familiarity with league rules and compliance standards will further strengthen your impact in this role.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in related field and two years relevant experience at the collegiate level, or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Ability to pass NCAA recruiting exam

Position Details:

This is a full-time, term-funded, non-exempt staff position complete with both a competitive salary and full employee benefits package. UA provides a generous compensation package that includes retirement options, annual leave, 12 paid holidays per year, tuition waivers for employees and family members, and affordable medical, dental and vision care coverage. New hires will be placed on the UA Staff Salary Schedule, Grade 77, based on education and experience.
