The Office of Admissions is hiring for an Admissions Coordinator. This dynamic position requires a high level of attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to interpret complex systems of education. The successful candidate will be an energetic, self-motivated individual interested in student success, process improvement, and daily challenges. They can work independently and in cooperation with a bigger team. This is a full-time, year-round position with full UA benefits.

The Admissions Coordinator independently evaluates applications for admission by thoroughly reviewing academic transcripts, standardized test scores, and supplemental documents. Each coordinator specializes in a specific applicant type, ensuring personalized and efficient application processing. Responsibilities include verifying document authenticity, recalculating GPAs, converting international credits, approving residency status, and determining scholarship eligibility. This role is essential in upholding the integrity and standards of the admissions process while supporting the institution's enrollment goals.

Consistently provide a welcoming and supportive experience for prospective students, families, and internal stakeholders while upholding the university’s standards of excellence—exercise sound judgment and confidence in independently evaluating complex applications, interpreting policies, and making admissions decisions. Through clear, professional, and empathetic communication across multiple platforms, foster positive relationships with students, faculty, and staff. Efficiently manage a high volume of applications and projects, balancing competing priorities with attention to detail and composure in fast-paced situations. One year of experience in education, business or a related field. Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.

Position Details:

This is a full-time, non-exempt staff position with a competitive salary and full employee benefits package. UA provides a generous compensation package that includes retirement options, annual leave, 12 paid holidays per year, tuition waivers for employees and family members, and affordable medical, dental and vision care coverage. New hires will be placed on the UA Staff Salary Schedule, Grade 77, based on education and experience.
