The Administrative Coordinator is key to the organization and day to day functioning of the Office of Equity and Compliance (OEC) at UAA. OEC strives to maintain a safe and healthy campus working and learning environment by addressing discrimination and preventing discrimination for all students, employees and visitors. OEC is looking for a dynamic team member to join in our valuable mission at the university.

The Administrative Coordinator maintains an organized office environment, working a hybrid schedule with colleagues that are both in person and remote. This includes data input, training development, file organization and production of enticing marketing materials, to name a few. The Office of Equity and Compliances receives reports of sexual misconduct and discrimination across the campus community, to include students, employees and campus visitors. The OEC works collaboratively with stakeholders to ensure that reports are addressed with supportive measures, interventions and remedies to prevent further discrimination.

To thrive in this role, it requires the ability to work well on a team, providing strong organizational and office skills. Efficiency with various software programs is a must, coupled with innovation, creativity and independence to handle the variety of tasks.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum of one to two years experience working in an office with administrative and computer software experience is required. Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Position Details:

This position is located at the University of Alaska campus in Anchorage. This is a full-time, non-exempt staff position complete with both a competitive salary and full employee benefits package. New hires will be placed on the UA Staff Salary Schedule, Grade 78, based on education and experience.
