Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Candidates will be evaluated on suitability of their graduate-level academic coursework and preparation, past teaching experiences, expertise and experience relevant to the effective teaching of their specific field, and potential for providing high-quality instruction to undergraduate students in assigned courses at the University of Alaska. Preferred Experience & Education:
Applicants must have expertise and experience relevant to teaching the specific course content.
Experience teaching college-level courses in Sociology or closely related field is preferred.
Required Experience & Education:

The successful candidate will have a Master's degree in sociology or a closely related field relevant to the topic at hand. A Ph.D. in sociology is preferred. Successful applicants must provide official transcripts documenting academic credentials required for the position as a condition of employment.

Salary Information:

This is a part-time, adjunct represented temporary position. New hires will be placed on the adjunct salary schedule as outlined in the UNAD CBA, based on education and experience.
