The Rural Alaska Students in One Health Research (RASOR) program is seeking someone who has experience or is interested in developing skills in program management, marketing, marine science and/or education. A good fit for someone passionate about research, education, and equity. This is a full-time, 12-month, non-exempt term staff position at Grade 78, minimum $23.84 hourly, complete with a full employee benefits package. Salary commensurate with experience. Term funding through 30 June 2024. The RASOR program is a grant-funded educational opportunity for rural high school students in Southeast Alaska. RASOR students complete locally relevant mentored research projects in their home communities while earning college credit. Research focuses on a culturally relevant one-health approach that emphasizes the connections between human, animal and environmental health. This position is involved in coordinating activities, organizing information, communicating clear expectations, and relaying concerns for both local students and distance students in multiple rural communities.
