Climbing Wall Programs Team Member - Student Assistant B

Outdoor Adventures at Nanook Recreation is looking for adventurous students to join the climbing facilities (wall and/or ice tower) team. This position will assist with climbing facilities operations including, but not limited to, assisting climbers, providing training for new and experienced climbers, wall maintenance and route setting.
Outdoor Adventures is part of the whole Nanook Recreation team, which also includes the Student Recreation Center, Patty Ice Arena and the Patty Pool.
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
The Student Health and Counseling Center at the University of Alaska Anchorage, is seeking a State of Alaska licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner for a 40 hours per week, 9 or 12 month position. Data Visualization Specialist - Alaska NSF EPSCoR
Alaska NSF EPSCoR is looking for a Data Visualization Specialist to craft audiovisual content for our multidisciplinary research project, “Fire & Ice.” EPSCoR is a research and outreach organization engaged in a five-year University of Alaska-wide project to study climate-driven changes to wildfires in the boreal forest and to conditions and organisms in the nearshore Gulf of Alaska. The project also includes a significant component of education and community engagement, which includes the crafting and dissemination of numerous innovative audiovisual products detailing its progress and data.The position includes the opportunity to work in concert with researchers to create engaging and immersive education and outreach products and events. This includes editing video and still footage and creating products such as traditional live-action videos, animations, multi-screen visualizations, virtual reality simulations, and games, as well as potential travel to research sites in Interior, Southeast and Southcentral Alaska to gather footage and interviews. The position also includes troubleshooting, content-creation and management duties for “Vis Space” and “Dev Space,” visualization and decision-support facilities available for public use located on the UAF West Ridge.
