The UAA Mat-Su College Library is looking for an experienced copy cataloger. Original cataloging experience is a plus, but not required. While cataloging books, videos, and other material is the primary focus of the position, it also performs a wide variety of other tasks. These include answering reference questions, helping at the circulation desk, shelving, performing collection maintenance, and processing courier shipments. We have a small staff, so everyone helps in more than one area.
The person selected for this position may be asked to cover evening shifts, and while we are not currently open on weekends, rotating Saturday shifts may be required in the future.
