Adult Basic Education (ABE) Instructor
The ABE Instructor will organize, prepare and teach English as a Second Language, GED subjects, literacy,
computer literacy and Life skills one-on-one and in small groups. Subjects will be taught on campus as well

Assistant Professor of Extension - Tenure Track
The Institute of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Extension (IANRE) at the University of Alaska Fairbanks seeks to hire a bipartite, faculty position in food systems, agriculture/horticulture. The position will be a 9-month tenure track appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor (highly qualified candidates may be considered at the rank of Associate Professor) with approximately 90% devoted to outreach activities and 10% to teaching. An additional 1.5 month contract extension will be provided as Extension funding allows. The incumbent may secure external funding for an additional 1.5 month through grants and contracts in collaboration with colleagues. The incumbent will be expected to establish a statewide extension program based on research-base information to address high priority problems/issues in food systems, horticulture and agriculture; provide training, resource materials, and technical assistance to statewide extension agents; procure program funding; and regularly participate in other scholarly and departmental activities. As a tenure-track faculty position, the candidate will be expected to achieve recognition for their efforts and to interact effectively with growers, industry leaders, government agencies, grower organizations, as well as other disciplines, and develop regional cooperation when feasible. The position will be located on the UAF campus and housed in the Cooperative Extension’s Tanana District Office in Fairbanks, AK.

The UAF Music Department is searching for an employee to serve as Director of Performance Operations/ Concert Hall Manager for the College of Liberal Arts Music Department. The position will be full-time during the academic year (August through May) and part-time in the summer.
