Position Summary:
The College of Arts and Sciences is recruiting qualified applicants for its pool of part-time adjunct instructors in Women’s and Gender Studies. We are seeking applicants who possess a desire to help students succeed in reaching their goals.
Applicants must be available to work within Alaska during the length of the assignment. No relocation expenses will be paid for adjunct instruction.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: |
Candidates will be evaluated on suitability of their graduate-level academic coursework and preparation, past teaching experiences, expertise and experience relevant to the effective teaching of their specific field, and potential for providing high-quality instruction to undergraduate students in assigned courses at the University of Alaska. |
Preferred Experience & Education: |
Applicants must have expertise and experience relevant to teaching the specific course content. Experience teaching college-level courses in Women’s and Gender Studies or closely related field is preferred.

Required Experience & Education: |
The successful candidate will have a Ph.D., Master’s degree, or Graduate Certificate in Women’s and Gender Studies or a closely related field relevant to the topic at hand. Successful applicants must provide official transcripts documenting academic credentials required for the position as a condition of employment.

This is a pooled position, which means that the position remains open over the entire academic year.
