Position Summary:
Our Learning & Testing center is seeking student math tutors to assist with all tutoring, grading, and proctoring services. Completion, or present enrollment in Math 152, Trigonometry is required. This is a great opportunity to improve skills, learn about tutoring/teaching strategies, and gain professional work experience. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis and filled as positions become available.

Must have ability to recognize various learning styles, communicate effectively with students and faculty, and be highly responsible and organized. |
Required Experience & Education: |
Completion of/or present enrollment in Math 152 (Trigonometry) with a grade average of "B" or better in Math courses. Higher level Math coursework and/or Statistics coursework and/or prior tutoring experience desirable.
Must be a UAS student enrolled in a minimum of six credit hours for the period of employment. Knowledge of basic academic course content and tutoring strategies required.

Salary Information: |
This is a part-time, Student Assistant 2 position payrate is $13.11 per hour.
