Position Summary:
The University of Alaska Southeast (UAS) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Outreach Coordinator. This position plays a crucial role in fostering increased collaboration with community and K-12 partners. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of the UAS School of Career Education while building strong relationships with industry stakeholders.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: |
● Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations. ● Advanced knowledge of PowerPoint, Canva, Prezi, and/or other similar presentation tools. ● Proficiency in computer (PC/Windows) Microsoft Office applications. ● Ability to work independently, as a leader, and on a team with limited supervision. ● Ability to identify areas of process improvement and work with stakeholders to ensure completion. ● Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. ● Ability to communicate and relate to the public in a courteous and professional manner. ● Ability to adapt to various personalities and working styles under tight deadlines. ● Ability to analyze complex situations and make responsible decisions. |
Required Experience & Education: |
Bachelor's degree required; or an equivalent combination of experience in a relevant field. At least three (3) years’ experience in outreach, communications and/or recruitment management, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

Salary Information: |
This is a full-time, 12-month, exempt staff position complete with both a competitive salary and full employee benefits package. New hires will be placed on the UA staff salary schedule, Grade 79, based on education and experience.
