Position Summary:

UAA College of Arts and Sciences Dean's Office is accepting applications for a student support staff member. This is a pooled position, application to the labor pool does not constitute an offer of employment.

Duties:

100This position will serve as support for staff members within the College of Arts and Sciences Dean’s Office, with specific tasks and assignments, which may include but is not limited to: provide administrative/clerical support for CAS Leadership Team, document management, answering phone calls and questions, provide customer service to students and employees, assisting with setup and takedown as well as staffing for CAS events, and other duties as assigned.Essential
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Must have good oral and written communication.
Must be organized and demonstrate attention to details.
Must be able to work independently on assigned tasks while also working as part of a team.
Must be able to meet deadlines.
Must be dependable.
Must have good customer service skills
Preferred Experience & Education:
Preference for experience working in an office environment or customer service.
Required Experience & Education:

High School diploma or equivalent.
Must be enrolled at UAA at a minimum of 6 credits for Fall and/or Spring semester
and hold a GPA of 2.0 or higher.

Salary Information:

This is a non-exempt, hourly, student position. New hires will be placed on the Student Salary Grid, based on education and experience.
